About

Men's health, minus the bro-science.

The Fitness Verdict gives men straight, research-backed answers about their bodies, without the hype, the fear-mongering, or the supplement sales pitch.

Men's health advice online is a mess. Loud influencers, miracle "test boosters," and coaches who sound certain about things the science has not settled. We wanted the opposite: a place that reads the actual studies, tells you what they really show, and respects you enough to be honest when the answer is "it depends" or "we do not know yet."

How we work

  • We start with the research. Every article is built on real, peer-reviewed studies, mostly from PubMed, and we link to our sources so you can check them yourself.
  • We write in plain English. No jargon walls. If we use a science word, we explain it. You should not need a degree to understand your own body.
  • We give a verdict. When the evidence is strong, we say so. When it is weak or hyped, we say that too. We would rather tell you the truth than sell you a shortcut.
  • We keep it practical. Real numbers, real habits, and things you can act on this week.

What we cover

We focus on what men ask about most: hormones (testosterone, cortisol, and the daily habits that move them), muscle and fat loss (building strength and losing the gut, especially after 35), health and longevity (gut health, prostate, microplastics, and the screenings that matter), and supplements (what is worth your money and what is not).

One important note

The Fitness Verdict offers general health and fitness education, not medical advice. It is not a substitute for care from your doctor. Talk with a qualified professional before changing your diet, training, or supplements, or making decisions about your health, especially if you have a medical condition or take medication.
